Bachelor's Admission

Admission to BACHELOR'S university studies is conducted through a competition based on:

  1. MOTIVATIONAL ESSAY – evaluated with a pass/fail grade and written in:

Candidates will upload on the www.admitere.ase.ro platform the motivational essay(s) regarding the choice of ASE and the study program (first option), dated, signed, scanned / photographed.

  1. LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST taken online (graded with pass/fail) for candidates who opt for the Marketing program taught in English. Exceptions are candidates who upload on the institutional admission platform one of the language proficiency certificates recognized by ASE or those who have graduated high school studies followed entirely in English, as well as those followed at the bilingual section in accredited programs.

  2. GENERAL ADMISSION AVERAGE calculated as a weighted average between the average obtained at the baccalaureate exam with 70% and the average of the study years with 30%.

The ranking of candidates, who have obtained the passing grade for the motivational essay, and, where applicable, for the language proficiency test, is done according to the general admission average and in the order of the options specified by the candidate on the platform admitere.ase.ro!

The status of a student financed from the budget or with a tuition fee is updated after the first semester of the 1st year and then annuallydepending on university academic performance!

Candidates will constantly consult the admitere.ase.ro platform and their personal email address, provided during the registration process, to be updated with their status and the steps they will follow within the admission stages!

The candidate will register with their full name (with diacritics), according to the birth certificate, specifying an active email address and phone number, uploading a single file for each (the copy will include all pages of a document and will not be uploaded page by page) for the following documents (copies in .pdf or .jpeg/.jpg format, where applicable):

  1. Baccalaureate diploma (or diploma equivalent to it). Graduates of study programs from abroad and of international high schools in Romania, besides the baccalaureate diploma/graduation certificate, must upload on the admission platform the copy of the equivalence certificate/attestation issued by the relevant ministry – CNRED and will send before registration, to the address internationaladmission@ase.ro, the study documents (baccalaureate diploma or equivalent, transcripts corresponding to all high school years, and the copy of the certificate issued by CNRED). The registration committees check, together with the International Relations Directorate, the candidates' files;

  2. High school transcript (or its equivalent) showing the averages of the study years. Graduates who passed the baccalaureate exam in the July 2026 session will upload the transcript or the certificate attesting the averages of the study years. In case of loss, total or partial destruction of the baccalaureate diploma or its lamination, the copy of the documents attesting the fulfillment of all legal formalities regarding the preparation of a duplicate of the baccalaureate diploma (notarized self-declaration, announcement in the Official Gazette regarding the loss/deterioration of the study document, the address from the graduated high school showing that the graduate submitted a request regarding the issuance of a duplicate of the baccalaureate diploma, and the certificate showing the results obtained at the baccalaureate exam).

  3. Motivational essay/motivational essays, dated, signed, scanned/photographed, regarding the choice of ASE and the study program which represents the first option for each teaching language of the programs from the registration form.

  4. Standard medical certificate, issued by medical offices (school or territorial) or by the family doctor, at most six months before the registration date, showing that the applicants are fit for faculty enrollment;

  5. Birth certificate;

  6. Identity card;

  7. Marriage certificate (if applicable);

  8. Self-declaration – document that is completed in the registration application (Annex 7), through which the candidate declares that: they have not been expelled from ASE, without the right to re-enroll; they will not benefit, concurrently, from state budget funding for two or more university study programs, regardless of their level and will not follow simultaneously more than two university study programs, regardless of their level and form of funding; they have been/have not been enrolled, at another bachelor's university study program, including the number of semesters in which they benefited from state budget funding; they have graduated from another faculty; they agree to the processing of personal data.

  9. photograph 3/4 ID/passport type, .jpg or .jpeg format, uploaded on the platform;

  10. Proof of payment of registration fees for those who pay by bank transfer.

  11. Language proficiency certificate, which certifies linguistic competencies for the teaching language of the bachelor's program they are applying for (if applicable) or study documents issued by educational institutions in Romania or abroad taught in English;

  12. School and professional guidance certificate and/or certificate of disability classification, valid at the date of submission, as applicable;

  13. The document attesting membership in the Roma minority, as applicable;

  14. The document certifying membership in the social protection system, as applicable;

  15. The diploma attesting the award obtained in the case of national and international Olympic candidates;

  16. The document certifying the exemption from paying the registration fee for the first two options;

  17. The request regarding taking the exam tests in the mother tongue, if applicable

  18. The certificate issued by the university where they were/are a student, indicating the form of funding for previously completed studies (if applicable)

  19. The self-declaration regarding membership in a vulnerable group (people at risk of losing their ability to satisfy their daily living needs due to situations of illness, disability, poverty)

  20. The self-declaration regarding the authenticity of the documents uploaded on the admission platform and the correspondence between the digital/scanned documents and the original ones (Annex 8).

In case the study and/or civil status documents (birth/marriage certificate) are written in a language other than Romanian, legalized copies of their Romanian translations will also be uploaded on the admitere.ase.ro platform.

All the above documents, uploaded by each candidate, will constitute their admission file. Incomplete files are not accepted for registration.

Marketing, as a branch of economic sciences, includes a set of methods, techniques, and tools through which an organization, regardless of its profile, researches the environment in which it operates (marketing research), sets objectives and strategies to achieve them (strategic marketing planning), and designs and executes operational activities (marketing programs) to maximize profit and satisfy society's needs at the requested level. This set of methods, techniques, and tools is the subject of university disciplines, included in the curriculum, through the acquisition of which the student gains competencies and skills that grant them upon graduation the status of a marketing specialist, known in specialized literature as a marketer. Bachelor's university studies provide basic training, with a pronounced practical character, the graduate acquiring competencies and skills through which they execute a wide variety of marketing activities, among which we mention: interview operator, merchandiser, sales, customer relations, advertising, public relations, etc.
